Artist Beth Lipman has spent her career exploring history and humanity through material culture. Her exceptional laid tables and installations use the objects of everyday life to reference people and placemaking over time. Learn how Lipman's artistic career led her to create "Hive Mind," a new major public work of art on central campus dedicated to the past, present, and future of the impactful research and people at ISU.

The monthly concert series features performances by guest carillonneurs from around the world. Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the concert on the central campus lawn.
Songwriter Showcase: Lojo Russo and Abbie Sawyer
Lojo Russo and Abbie Sawyer take the stage for the fifth and final performance in the Goldfinch Room Songwriter Showcase series at Reiman Gardens. A local food truck will be on site and beverages will be available for purchase. Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are allowed. Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating on the lawn. Inclement weather could move the performance to the Garden Room.

Drop-in Craft: Altered Trinket Box
Drop in Monday-Friday 2-9pm and Saturday 10am-4pm from June 2-July 31 (closed July 3-5).
Transform a lidded box with paint or decoupage to create a space to hold things like jewelry, coins, keepsakes, or a small rock collection. Select a fabric to line the interior for safekeeping your special items. We will be repurposing microscope slide boxes from campus labs, with sizes from 3" x 5" to 6" x 9".
