Bronwyn's Council Preview

The City Council meeting starts at 6 p.m. this Tuesday. The agenda includes (but is not limited to):
 

• 1. Resolution approving 2018 Ames Annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition selections.
  Out of 46 entries, 8 sculptures were selected by a jury of Ames citizens for display during this year's exhibition.

• 4. Workshop on Post-Construction Stormwater Management Ordinance (Chapter 5B).
  In 2014, the City adopted new storm-water management standards that met both federal and state guidelines. Council at the time directed staff to review the new ordinance after some time had passed, so our current Council is reviewing the ordinance's now 4-year history. The staff presentation covers requirements of the plan and how they relate to drainage of the watersheds in Ames. Feedback from citizens, businesses, developers, and any other water enthusiasts is encouraged at tonight's workshop.
