Downtown Gateway District Zoning
Bronwyn's Council Preview |
The City Council meeting starts at 6 p.m. this Tuesday. The agenda includes (but is not limited to):
-
47. Second passage of ordinance setting the rental concentration cap. Public input will be allowed, but will be limited to those who have not previously addressed the Council regarding this topic and will be limited to no more than two minutes per person.
This is the second passage of the rental cap ordinance. To briefly sum up, no more than 25% rentals will be allowed in designated near-Campus areas. Those with an LOC (aka rental permit) will be allowed to keep it, and it is transferable upon sale, but in neighborhoods over the 25% cap, no additional LOCs will be granted. -
48. First passage of Downtown/Gateway Zoning District Ordinance.
At a recent meeting, we directed staff to draft the Downtown Gateway District zoning, now it is back for a vote on official adoption of this new zoning district.
-
63. Resolution approving Preliminary Plat for ISU Research Park Subdivision, Phase III, Third Addition.
Due to the interest of a particular firm in locating at the research park, Council is being asked to approve this preliminary plat creating Lot 8 for development, with the eventual extension of city services to the site.
