The Ames City Council begins at 7:00.  The agenda includes:

• Item 2 -- Workshop on potential traffic safety improvements to South Duff Avenue. A proposed median and additional signal on South Duff will some improvements to flow and safety. It may also yield negative consequences to convenience and is not desired by some business owners in the area. Balancing the trade-off between the two will be council's charge tonight.
