The Ames City Council meets on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at City HallThe agenda includes:

 

  • 1. Workshop on Bicycle Infrastructure in Ames. Council asked staff to arrange this workshop so that we and the public would have an opportunity to learn more about existing bike policies, infrastructure, maintenance activities, future plans, and be able to ask questions about our bicycle ecosystem generally. As one example, Council has allocated over $3 million in the next five years towards expansion of our shared use path system, pictured below.
