The Ames City Council met on Tuesday and meets again Wednesday and Thursday at 5:15 p.m. at City Hall. The agenda includes the following. Note that you can generally click on individual agenda items below to get the full staff report or other explanation.
On Tuesday, Council heard presentations from the following departments; Library, Utilities (Water/Resource Recovery), Public Works, Fleet, and Finance). On Wednesday, we hear from:
- Parks & Rec and Cemetery
- Right-of-Way maintenance
- Utilities - Electric
- Fire
- Police, including Animal Control and Parking Enforcement
On Thursday, we hear from:
- Transit
- General Governmental (city hall, media, HR, etc.)
- Community Development including the Planning & Housing Department
